I just realised the closest thing I have to friends are cats, fuck….it’s ok, I never wanted a normal happy life anyway , not that there’s anything wrong with cats, obviously I love mine,( well except the fact I’m allergic to them, again “fuck, the only ‘friends’ I have I’m allergic too”) and there’s my parents well, mother and step-father who I’m stuck with, and their stuck with me, woopey! It’s fun to be lonely!

Normal happy life? I always thought being friends with cats and being stuck with your family WAS a normal happy life!
I have a cat but he doesn’t like to sleep with me only time he comes is in the morning when it’s time to feed him. Ahhh I’m starting to dislike cats maybe a little
Awww.. Yeah some cats are shitty pompous fuckers unfortunately (not much unlike people) perhaps you got the wrong one.. You mentioned ‘he’ that’s probably why I’m not ‘cat sexist’ or anything but generally I think the female variety of felines are more affectionate also depends on how long you’ve had them like have you had him since he was a kitten?
Male cats like roam their territory at night; have a scrap or two, check out da ladycats etc..
No the one I had since he was a kitten ran away two years ago he always sleeped with me always came into my room. This one that I currently own now was abused and starved. When we first got him he was skinny and scared and he was the same exact age/color as the one that ran away. Still he could be more loving these two years he’s lived like a king. See I knew we shoulda gotten a female version… fuck
Haha, aw but that’s nicer though, I’m sure he knows and he loves you in his special way perhaps he’s just settled in to his new found fortune and it’s going to his head a little..
I would like to rescue a dog but I live in a top floor flat with no garden it just wouldn’t be suitable or fair, since the kitty-sitting though have been thinking about possibly adopting a house kitty but not sure if that would be quite right either really
Thanks missing link after our conversation I decided to get my cat and put him in my room he lasted only 4 minutes on my bed. I love him though I’d highly recommend having a cat even I get excited to see him everytime I just wish he’d hang out with me like the other one did. Still knowing he lived a crappy life I got to accept and understand him more since I’m going through it. I gotta say missinglink I enjoy talking with you
Awh there you go that’s sweet and longer than some would stay too.
I’m hitting the hay now, nice talking with you and until next time be well.
Thanks same here it was nice talking to you
Cats are awesome. Despite the few that say they are not affectionate.. THEY ARE
I’ve just been taking care of my friends kitten while she was on holiday (she could have gone else where but she thought it would be good for me- and it was) She followed me every where and would wait for me and watch when I was in the shower (lol) every time I cried she would pit pat over and give me sweet kitten kisses and if she was already sat on me she would sit closer to my face. Dont get me wrong at night I was prey but she’s only a baby and shed eventually settle down and nuzzle in to me. I would say you are in very good company, perhaps better than human.
Just a while ago i saw someone wearing a shirt that said “not being weird is weird”, so idk what a normal “happy” life would be considered nowadays. There’s not much you can do with family, it’s not like we get to pick them, and if we did we’d surely regret the choice years later along the line. As for cats… meh, i’d take a cat over most people i know, and i’m allergic too, lol.
I lie on my bed a lot, reading about social skills and lamenting my lack of friends etc. Ideally, I would leap from my mattress and into the world, meeting strangers and trying to rope them into my “network”, but I find it a daunting prospect.
My best friend is a beautiful canine. Nothing wrong with that. I have always been closer to my dogs than people.
That’s because they are incapable of nothing but the upmost loyalty. That’s what’s so beautiful about them. Instant family right there.
I have two male cats. One’s a bit of a jerk and one is very sweet. One is very cuddly and the other only when he’s up for attention does he want any. They both will sleep with me from time to time, one more so than the other. They do keep me company though as I live alone. They are my fur babies and I feel the purring is soothing to me at times… it gives you something to live for, pets, a reason cause they depend on you for food and love… it’s a small thing but it does help…. well, helps me at least.
