Give away everything you own, including digital files and passwords, travel to darkest Africa, taunt a lion and run from it. In that sublime moment you will realize you aren’t who you were anymore and you very much want to continue being who you aren’t.
This is the plan I am following but I’m doing it in very small stages.
Well, if one puts aside the predictable “dead” answer, is there an alive ideal version of you? Our issues and flaws do not make up the whole of us. Also, you can’t be not you anymore, just by existing you’re you. Well, expect if one puts up a constant facade, which would be extremely tiring and virtually impossible. Anyway, you’d just become a “better” you.

Also, I’m looking for very elderly, slow lions.
I’m so sleep-deprived that that almost makes sense.

Who do you want to be? When you think of the “ideal” version of yourself, or a person, what do you see?
Regardless, SeeSmith’s idea does also seem quite promising.
The ideal me is a dead me. If I were to actually turn into the person I want to be, I wouldn’t be me anymore.
