This video gives me hope that I can still overcome suicidal thoughts even though they’ve been around for so looong. Maybe it can help someone else too 🙂
Do not be a judgmental dick. Do not be a judgmental dick. I’m sorry I literally have to repeat that to myself after glancing at her. Glad it helped you though. I’m glad anything can help anybody these days…
Geez. You people are b1tchy. I watched a couple minutes and she seems like a sweet 20-year-old girl to me. She’s entitled to her own beliefs as long as she isn’t forcing them on anyone else.
I watched a bit more and she’s talking about how her dad died. Please have compassion and don’t be so quick to judge people based on their surface appearance/how they talk, etc. (It says more about you than it does about them.)
I don’t understand this “one more day” solution. one more day to achieve what? to stay alive a few more years right? only to go through other crap that life throws at me and die later? she’s acting like it’s so great that she’s still here lol. to me, staying alive is no achievement.
Statistically, it works for alcholics and many other types of addicts. It helps people keep their problems in manageable chunks, which are easier to process. Eventually this leads to recovery. While being suicidal is not quite the same as being an addict, there are similarities.
Going through recovery from an addictive process also gives people the opportunity to learn better ways to cope. Once you are better at coping then the shyt life throws at you tends to feel less formidable.
So, I don’t recommend going out and finding an addiction, but paying attention to the techniques used by many people to recover seems like a good idea.
Similar arguments can be made for joining a religion, but the hows and whys are more nuanced and not really appropriate for discussion here.
She didn’t recover. The truth is, she’s fallen for a lie. And I am sorry for her as one day she’ll realise that. She’s not fine, she’s just living a lie. I’m not being judgmental, by the way. I’m just saying that she’s not fine from herself.
Ok. Suicidal people can and do recover sometimes. She is not living a lie. People in hell live a lie.
If you focus all your energy on the negative aspects of this world and you think that this is all the world can offer and there is no salvation, enlightenment, God, hope, goodness in the universe, etc, then you are the one who lives a lie.
The truth is: Young people do recover, old people do recover. I did recover.
And if you think that life has to be perfect after you recover, then you are wrong.
My life is not great. But I am not suicidal anymore. I am glad to live my life and I have hopes for the future.
She IS living a lie and I despise it. It’s one of the most pathetic ones, as it was given by a fucktard religion which wants women to live in horrible conditions, forbidding them the chance to decide about themselves (I know what I am saying as I come from a country literally ruled by crazy-ass priests).
The only happiness one can have stems from the throughout acceptance of the lack of any sense in this life. That you are born without it and that you have never lost it as it never existed. That a person must GIVE their life this artificial sense, to aspire to have a peaceful life, to be fair and treat everyone as they would like to be treated. This is the only way to lead a meaningful existence until it will be negated and we will disperse as ash.
PS. Give me a proof that God exists. As for now, I just see followers of various religions murdering each other and no proof other than some book modified by many as the ages were passing.
Good for her! Anyone who embraces a positive attitude gets my respect. Her solution won’t work for me but it’s inspiring to see optimism for a change.
To all you negative and downright hateful people… wow. Just… wow. What can I but that’s pretty low to judge and project hatred on someone who managed to escape depression. Everyone has their own solution. To me I think it’s pretty superficial to think falling in love will save you, but that works for some people so more power to them. I’ll tell you one solution that will never work: tearing down others. Let me know when you figure that out.

She looks like a sharp toothed zealot.

I wouldn’t mind. I loved it when I didn’t know the truth. Feeling like that girl did. So I’m glad she doesn’t know better.

Thank you! I appreciate your response. That’s what I’m counting on
