Do you even dream? or just black out to sleep…

That’s a great dream. I have had it many times. And when it’s come true, I always found a way to screw it up. Aside from teenage HS crap, I have been the cause of my failures. I own it. So I stay away from that dream now – it’s just not healthy for me. And I am ok with it.

Now I guess I don’t have “dreams” as in wishes to strive for. Maybe the thing I really, really want is to really take control of my life again. But I had that and lost it and it’s exhausting starting over again.

As for dreams that are just unrealistic wishes – quite a few. I’d love to be able to travel between the stars out there like they do in Star Trek. Not with uniforms, aliens or phasers (unless it’s actually out there). Crossing distances that would really take lifetimes in a matter of hours or days. Not being ripped apart by gravities, radiations or magnetic fields of massive strength around some of the things to see. Seeing the different types of planets, stars, whatever phenomenon up close. The colors, shapes, configurations with human eyes as if they weren’t impossibly large and slow. Being able to actually look at suns / stars without being blinded. Does the universe actually look anything like the sky we see today – that is made up of points in time going back billions of years depending on which star we are viewing? What does the sky look like from a planet with a binary star system, 8 moons, methane atmosphere? What does a diamond planet really look like? How bright are white dwarfs up close? Yeah, that would be neat
