I know you won’t believe me, but you feel suicidal because you have too much, not because you have too little. Believe me, once you get diagnosed with a terminal condition and suffering becomes a very real prospect, you will want to live and be healthy again more than you could imagine. I’m not saying it’s wrong to feel the way you do, you are not responsible for your genetics or circumstances you were born into. But please do not throw your life away unaware of the value of life.

A lot of people do not agree.
They all feel invalidated because of people like you who preach the value of life when they sincerely want to end theirs. It’s not always their circumstances, it’s not always what life threw at them. It is their feeling that to live or die is their choice to make and they shouldn’t be judged for making that choice.
I’m not judging anybody and respect people and the courage it also takes to have committed suicide, but i’m trying to show you that even during the most overcast sky, the sun is still present. Look at my posts from 2014 and how dark they are, how much I wanted to die. I felt exactly the way people do now wanting to end their lives but survived a suicide attempt leading to ill health. So much so i’m facing the very real prospect of dying at any moment. Please believe me though, life can get better especially if you have your health.
“Not everyone loves the sun” – Velvet Underground 1970. I also had a suicide attempt I do not think it took my health completely. But I am rather sick. But what happened? I read a story of a girl on here who shot off her face but it did not kill her.
Wait what happened to emotional pain…….?
You’re both assuming I don’t understand what you’re feeling or i’m ignorant. But I’ve been in the exact same position you are in now. I’m no different, just I kept going down the path you are on and barely survived to tell the tale. Believe me, if you have your health you have hope.
Ok, whatever you say.
Yeah, but isn’t the value of life equivalent to a cup of dirt?
I dunno. I’ve had my share of life-threatening illnesses, and it takes a lot to get me to even seek treatment for them. Truth be told, I’m usually rooting for the virus/bacteria/injury. I have a dark hope whenever I get an infection that it’ll go on to become a superbug and wipe out humanity. But only if it’s a zombie pathogen. Otherwise it’s just morbid.
The value of life……. well I see life as pointless so only the person can give their life value, if they perceive it that way.
Either way life is certainly not gonna have any real value if there’s no meaning in their life. How they perceive that is again up to them
It’s true I’ve never been diagnosed with a terminal condition, but I’ve already gone through plenty of suffering.
