Do any of you know of anywebsite, or apps to use that will delay sending a message.
The goal here is to have text messages(or social media messages) set up to send out 10 or so hours after my attempt. So that if I am unsuccessful than I have time to cancel the messages.
The main thing keeping me here is guilt of leaving friends/family behind. So having a reliable message system is pretty important to me, so that I can say goodbye to distant friends who may not be offered to read my suicide note.
I am determined to make this attempt work, but seeing as i’ve never done this before, failing is definitely a possibility that I have to consider.

Ooh, that’s a great idea
Yeah, I like the insurance of being able to cancel the message incase the attempt fails.
clever…
couldn’t you just mail a letter to yourself?
who are you?
unfortunately, I want to message many people, not just the ones I live with. So a letter to myself wont be sufficient
You can set email to do it. I don’t think I’ve ever tried it so you might want to give it a trial run to work out any quirks
thanks, will definitely do some test runs
You can use Timecave or Boomerang app that works with Chrome and Gmail. I haven’t tried Timecave but have trialled Boomerang. You can set it for a future date of your choosing so you do have the option of deleting the email should you need to.
Fantastic, really appreciate the info, just what I was looking for.
Update: tested Timecave and it worked. I had a few issues with Boomerang and pop-up blockers/adblockers (disabled both but emails didn’t send). Recommend timecave.com
Cool. Before you go tho, can you explain what KoneWone means?
