I had planned to use chloroquine to self terminate but the latest update of the EXIT guide states this as being the preferred method in Oregon.
Here’s hoping it’s as effective as they say – seems lime the barbiturate method is increasingly difficult to procure.
Funny how long just a few weeks feels waiting for the final ingredient to arrive after 18 miserable months.
A saner world would provide it on request.
Especially after psychiatrists have agreed I’m both rational and untreatable.

I remember you, your posts. In no way am I encouraging you, but don’t forget the antiemetic if you do decide to do this, as you seem to be. Have you picked a date?
As soon as the last part arrives. I’ve prepared a Living Will and even donated my body.
As I said I’d already planned Chloroquine but this seemed both practical and ideal.
And, yes, I have Anti-Emetics ready.
Just that my last attempt was so certain and such a nightmare when I survived I had to be 110% certain this time (pardon the cliche).
So Thanks EXIT. I recommend the Peaceful Pill to all.
I remember. I had the same experience (I’m SQ). Never forget the sadness and confusion when I woke up in the hospital. Shock and “no, no, no, no, no” going through my head as I tried to get my bearings.
I tried to Living Will and the DNR but it was of no avail.
Donating your body to a med school?
I’m really close to exiting as well, so if you want to email me, feel free. It’s difficult for people who care about me that aren’t planning to walk this last mile, nor would I want them to.
Hi
I can appreciate – I was amazed and bitterly sad to wake up in ICU.
I really regret it- this time I’ve made clear I wish no aggressive attempts to revive at hospital.
And the local University will take the body so no cost or stress to anyone.
If the final part doesn’t arrive I’ll just use the Chloroquine – it has helped just knowing it’s there.
I wish you The Best and a Peaceful Passing.
When are you expecting the final ingredient?
Yes, everything seems to take so long these final weeks.
Peaceful passage to you as well, BML.
No meth od’s.
I never realized that the drug I was taking to control my immune system could be used to end my life. Glad I held onto it. And I have plenty. It will probably lose potency before I get around to using it. I plan on living to enjoy the blindness that it’s causing.
Wait, the drug used to control your immune system is the same one that’s causing you blindness?? Yeesh. What’s the name of the drug?
Hydroxychloroquine. Brand name Plaquenil. I stopped taking it last spring but the retinal damage continues for about two years. So now my body is attacking itself causing all kinds of damage. And my vision is going at a rate that is alarming to the retinal specialist. Lose/lose.
@BML84: Hi, still there?
Only for a short while- had to finalise a few things first.
Can we talk? can you give me your email address? I was gonna ctb using the Choloroquine method too..but the DDMP method seems more promising…I want to talk about that. If you don’t mind. Much Appreciated. Thanks.
if you give me your E-Mail I’ll reply.
