In the history of humanity, since man evolved from the Ape my self esteem is the lowest, and no self esteem is the root cause of suicide irrespective of what therapists say.

According to Thomas Joiner’s interpersonal-psychological theory of suicidal behavior, perceived burdensomeness and thwarted belongingness make people suicidal.
The thing is, though, high self-esteem does not seem to make people more successful in life. But self-compassion does.
