Every time I go out I just want to go home and cry, the world is hideous

Some bad sh*t happened now I have no way to escape my prior tortures because that had me paralyzed for a long time.. before I had walked 1,000 miles , no cares in the world. Now I can’t leave my bedroom.

I am in happy and carefree New York and I see it too. Its because its the holidays. People are too busy to be sad. We have black Friday and Christmas ads start playing Nov 1. Everyone is like an elf zombie. Buy buy buy! Eat eat eat! Once January rolls around people get sad. Its like the spell is broken. But some people are just happy because they are out and about and socializing. Honestly Idk what im saying. Ramble ramble. Im sad and depressed too. I go to movies and watch youtube videos. For now thats my bliss. Oh and i see a few friends and eat with them.

I agree with you.

If you have certain things (money, true friendship, good family & upbringing, talent, success, intelligence, good health, love & sex, etc.) then life is usually great and has meaning and purpose.

For the unlucky ones, who don’t have those things.. (and/or have severe mental issues) Then life is a usually a meaningless, lonely, depressing, torturous pile of shit.

Some people win the “How will my life be?” lottery but a lot strike out. I definitely struck out.
