Have you been to other places? Is life better somewhere else?
Have you ever farted in a crowded place filled with strangers?
I don’t really understand this world, do you?
In response to understanding things, I’ve found a poem that sums my my view on people understanding things;
“Tiger got to hunt, bird got to fly;
Man got to sit and wonder ‘why, why, why?’
Tiger got to sleep, bird got to land;
Man got to tell himself he understand.” -Kurt Vonnegut.
I’ve been places that appeared nicer. The people are kinder, and conditions better. These places universally cost more to live in than where I live now. Yet, I’m trying to move to such a nice place, by trying to get a job in one of those cities where things seem better.
I’ve moved around a bit. Enough to satisfy the desire to want to move again. It was a “burning desire” years ago, not so much anymore. I recommend it, for two reasons. One, a change of scenery is good for the soul. It brings growth. And two, after you do it a few times, you realize that no matter where you go, life is basically the same. The same situations, the same challenges, problems, joys, sufferings. All that changes is the scenery. I thought moving would help me escape myself, but it didn’t. I followed myself everywhere I went. Still, if you get the chance to move, to go somewhere new, do it. It’s worth the effort.
i do understand it, you just remember nothing is normal and there is no normal, nothing is perfect and there is no perfect, that is the way it is suppose to be.
