Love it!! I saw FGTH live, yes I’m one of the few, the proud and the bold enough to admit it. LOVE Holly Johnson to this day, very underrated voice, very underrated album. Do You Know The Way To San Jose, love it.
That song by San Jose is a cover of Welcome to the Pleasuredome the FGTH debut, and only album, LOL I think u mean Welcome to the Pleasuredome.
I like Neil, a few songs too young to remember him when he wag big though, I heard him lately live I saw a TV show he sounds terrible, though everyone’s voice ages, no big surprise. I have to admit though Robt Plant sounds fantastic considering….
I was a late eighties girl, so I remember it all…
U2 Groupie, practically, now I would not walk across the street to see them.
I like mostly classical and hip hop now, Coldplay and OneRepublic being my favorites.
Stay away from Bourbon St. well I guess if a tourist yeah go there, the rest of the French Quarter is the Bomb, ….. Up Town (St Charles Ave.) Canal St/Blvd, The ByWater are all great places.
Advice never wonder into areas that look like I shouldn’t wonder in to here, lol.

Not sure if I’m thinking of the same song, I do know a tune by that name, late 60’s early 70’s.
Nothing to be ashamed to say you saw them, lol
I went to se wait, wait, wait, ……… Niel Diamond in 1993 94, in Baton Rouge, he sold out 2 nights in New Olreans and 2 nights in Baton Rouge.
The first few songs his voice was raspy, once he got going, it was amazing.
Almost everysong he performed had beena number 1 hit, and the show went for 2 hours.
Enjoyed the entire show.
I lean towards rock then found the club scene in the late eighties, now its new wave, and Frank Sinatra, …….. I’m all over the board.
