The title says it all. There’s something interesting about everybody. Id like to know what, in your opinion, is the most interesting thing about you. Tell me about a skill, a hobby, a struggle you overcome, a place you’ve been to…anything.
Something about me (sort of): There are people in my family who claim to have been abducted by aliens. These people dont have a history of mental health issues, and are very successful in their lives.

My mother is a librarian and my dad has done a fair bit of work writing, and this probably explains why I spent so much of my early life around books. My dad threw me some writing and editing work back when he had a business doing it. Of course I went through something like five courses in college covering how to write and contrary to what is common in students I appear to have absorbed a fair bit of it.
So literary blood flows through my veins. Today I was just working on organizing my relatively small private library. The irony being that my mother frequently would prefer me to borrow books rather than buy them, being a frugal person herself. The books I have though couldn’t be borrowed in many cases, and my memory is so bad that borrowing books isn’t practical.
The other passion I get from my mother is music. She sings and plays the piano, and I also sing, and try to play the piano.
Thats a great one! And it makes sense considering the composition of your posts.
Im curious about your name, heartless viking. Are you Norse, or have an interest in Norse history?
well that goes back to from childhood I always was fascinated with pirates and pirate history, but then I looked into my family history and I come from mostly northern europe, England and Scotland so what looks like pirates in England and Scotland? Vikings are the closest thing that has ever menaced that part of the world
I think I internalized the toughness that vikings had, if nothing else. They really were quite awful at times, but they crossed the Atlantic before any other Europeans, and did some really amazing things considering they were using 10th century tech to do it. My father in law is actually Norse and I know some Norse people so I’ve gotten some real knowledge about what that part of the world is actually like, and the part of Michigan I’m moving to is actually pretty full of Norse folks supposedly, so I’m kind of excited about that.
Where to begin…. although my life has sucked ass, one thing’s for sure, it’s been very interesting. The most fun bits involve acts of rebellion which are “illegal” (not immoral) so I can’t say much. Life is too short and shitty to follow their rules.
