I mean, how out of the usual do you want things? Because I read supernatural horror novels and sometimes I wouldn’t mind living in a world where things as strange as occur in them were possible, because life is frankly stunningly ordinary and boring.
I mean I watch shows and movies with supernatural elements as well, lots of supernatural things would be a welcome addition.
Like NOS4A2 is a really great example where strong creatives can pull things out of their imagination into the real world, and the show only barely begins to scrape how dark that can get. There’s a cost to it, especially as you get older you either have to pay in pain to yourself or to others. Still, as a strongly creative person with a lot of pain I dreamed of being able to travel to places I’ve only imagined after I watched the show, it’s on Netflix.
Anyway, point is, things could get far from the ordinary, but, the real world is pretty darn disappointing.
