Not really a depression app, but I used ChatGPT to help talk me thru some messed up crap. One thing I did was right in the beginning I told it “I hate contrived positivity” so it knew to avoid saying dumb things like “IT GETS BETTER!”
What I did was pick a few famous people who died by suicide, in whose lives I saw parallels with mine, and I told ChatGPT to compare my life with theirs and predict if I’m gonna end the same way.
It was actually kinda helpful in pointing out some differences or “strengths” that I could be able to use.
But this was like 1 year ago, and since then all the dumbshit whiners have sued ChatGPT for talking about suicide, so afaik all that stuff is banned, you can’t talk about suicide because it’ll shut you down. That’s probably the same with most apps, some dumbshit whiners complain “YOUR APP KILLED MY KID” (no, dumbass, your shitty parenting killed your kid) so all the apps get either censored or sanitized to the point where you can’t even open up to a dumb computer.
