Hmm.. So what you’re saying is.. You can’t be absolutely sure that this is the 6003rd mental breakdown you’ve had?
To answer your question – assuming it wasn’t rhetorical, which it probably was, but fuck it – it’s most probably a combination of bad luck and a self-fulfilling prophecy. Do you anticipate the roof crashing down at all times? It’s kind of hard to enjoy yourself when you’re staring at the ceiling all the time.
Humans have a bad habit of remembering the extraordinary and costly at the expense of the ordinary and beneficial. You know how people believe that toast always – or more often than not – falls on the buttered side? Bullshit; but we only remember those instances, because those instances are far more frustrating for us. If you spend your whole life expecting the toast to fall, and fall on the buttered side; you’re never going to be able to enjoy breakfast.
I believe that what sometimes happens to us is this;
We find something, or someone, good in our lives.
We attach to it or them.
This makes us vulnerable to the pain of losing them.
We fear the pain even as we push them away.
We suffer another loss.

I was hoping that you’d put up more of a fight than that.
I’m a bit tired of fighting though.
Fair enough. I can relate.

Now, yes. There are times when I can barely be bothered to string sentences together.
Anyway, I hope I helped a little bit. Take it easy.
