I’m scared of my mom’s reaction to my scars when I go to see her. I’m leaving in a few days and I’m just wondering if anyone has advice on how to adress this situation?

You are going to tell your mom about your cutting?
I cut but my mom doesn’t know (she is the reason for my cutting). IF I where you I would just sit her down and tell her straight and the reasons why you cut.

It does kinda help. but when she first saw the first few, she said crazy people do that and she would send me to a hospital if I did it again.. I have big scars all over my arms.
If I was In your situation I’d let her confront me about them and I’d say “Life keeps knockinq me down and I know I qotta qet up and shake It off and well this cuttinq,It helps me qet up In a bad way.Cuttinq Is bad way to make me feel better,I hope to stop In the future but for now It’s just a way of dealinq with thinqs.”
