4 years ago I found this site, and I’ve been on and off since.
I’m 16 and I want to say that it is worth it to keep fighting no matter how pathetic and shitty you think you are (which you are NOT), because things will get better if you seek help and support and refuse to give up. I and the entire community is here for you, you are not alone(!!) and you are absolutely fantastic for having made it this far. This applies to every one of you. Always keep fighting, and take care.
to keep it brief, it’s been rough lately, and busy to the point where I cry from exhaustion when I’m not crying out of fear or desolation. Monday was the first time I’ve talked to my school counsellor, and I think I’ve found a safe place to absorb a little comfort. Confidentiality only goes so far, and if I tell him I’m suicidal he may be obliged to call my parents, but if I don’t tell him I doubt he could help me.
I sincerely hope you’re all doing okay.
I don’t feel like I have a right to post here, but I refound something that I would really like for you to watch, even if it makes you hate my guts. Please please give this a go.
nostalgic tonight.
I learned how to manipulate my own emotions when I was really young, and to comfort myself I deliberately attached importance to an object or a person. Convinced myself that each time I saw that thing I would be comforted. It works for me, especially if the object is a trustworthy person who will understand if I get too clingy.
There’s relief when I’m with him, real, intense relief. But in his absence I feel restless, sad. I miss having friends to lean on. I think I’ve driven them all away.

Hey everyone, its been a year since I’ve been here. I’m back, more tired than I’ve ever been. Barely sleeping, although I lie in bed for hours and hours trying to drift off. Reading through all of your posts. You’re all phenomenal people, and thank you to all those who have so much compassion for others.
Worried for my friend who is suicidal and burdened by multiple mental illnesses. As for myself, I’m at a low point but I need to be there for certain people in my life.
