I’ve come to realise I probably haven’t helped a single soul on here. You guys haven’t completely recognised how much i’ve tried and wanted you help you all. I’ve got problems of my own and here I am, spending time at trying to support you poor people. I hope you all get help, and it’s just darn sad you have to be here because of the emotional pain. In a few days, it’ll be MY day, and I really do hope that maybe, juuust maybe I have helped someone. I’m sorry if I haven’t actually, done anything helpful… but I tried, I really did. I […]

Once, there was a boy named Peter in 8th Grade.
He was shy, but had a happy façade.
He smiled at the teachers, his classmates and me.
But he was so distraught, a mood in him you couldn’t see.
It was funny though, but not a funny kind of funny.
When you find out his mama never gave him money.
The day you figure out that all he ever was, was all alone.
That he was always that person in a down in the dumps zone.
He was like chalk and cheese compared to the people in high spirits.
Like black chalk and mouldy cheese enclosed with secrets. Â
But on November 21st on a […]

I don’t care who you are, I just want to help 🙂
Sometimes, i feel it’s bad to succeed in stopping someone from committing suicide, but the person still suffers. I see peoples stories on here and for a lot of them, i can see so much success in getting better. But, for others, their lives seem to be getting to them. It’s so sad to see someone struggling to live, and they shouldn’t have to suffer. It’s amazing when someone can pull through that kind of pain and you see them so amazing in life. Suicide is neither wrong or right guys. I just want you all to know it CAN get better, but if you […]
When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade. Unless you don’t have any water or sugar. And then you just eat the lemons, and the rind will give you diarrhea. … Vincent Van Gogh. Everyone said to him, “You can’t be a great painter, you only have one ear.†And you know what he said? “I can’t hear you.†… So dare to dream. Dream your wildest dreams. You can climb the highest mountain. You can drown in a teacup, if you find a big enough teacup. And if somebody tells you that you can’t do something, you say, ‘Yes, I can. ‘Cause I’m doing […]
Dear Travis and Lily-Loo,
Oh yeah, and my sister Sue.
I’m sorry I haven’t made my bed,
But I left a note there for you instead.
Mom and Dad let me tell you something,
That little wound wasn’t a bee sting.
It was those kids, who push you around,
They tell you mean things, and knock you to the ground.
I tried to fight back, but they’re just too strong,
I got tired of it; it’s been going for too long.
But, don’t worry; it’s not going to happen anymore,
I’m far from them; I’m somewhere above, somewhere to soar.
Love, Jarrad.
its not that good, but it’s how bullying can affect this boy Jarred, who is someone I just made up, even though he […]
We yearn for freedom and peace.. Is that what death is really defined as to us? Or Maybe we misjudge our ability to be free and peaceful in our lives?
What do you think/want the afterlife will be like? I want it be peaceful- for sure- but I don’t want to loose sight of loved ones, I want to watch them and see what they’re doing. Just to be like.. A spirit. Or just be sleeping for eternity doesn’t sound to bad either. What about you guys?
Hey guys, so I’m doing this big video project about people’s struggles I guess you can say. Anyway, I’m in need of some videos/voice recordings. I would appreciate SOOO much, if you want to, email me voice recordings of your story or a poem or whatever. Or a video of you telling that. Or you can even just film some nature or whatever. I’ll give you full credit for the recordings. My email is immarebal@hotmail.com. Thanks guys, keep strong 🙂
(also, when I’m done ill post it)
Have you tried every option in the book that never worked and are now planning your suicide? Before you even try to kill yourself, I want you to do a small task for me. I want you to go to the most peaceful and beautiful place you know that it is close to you (say.. the beach, the sun gleaming on the forest, a beautiful park)Â Go there, and just sit and notice the beauty around you. Don’t think, don’t cut. Just close your eyes, your mind, your hurt. Listen around you and relax. Do this whenever life gets to you. I don’t know if this […]
I went to my counsellor today, and she asked me this question “What are your 3 wishes?” I responded with this for one of my wishes- “For people to realise that there are more options than suicide.”
If people came to acknowledge that fact, would the beautiful souls who had taken their lives still be here today?
Depression is something that puts us on hold for a better day. It puts us in suffering for a while so that when we get through it, we’ll feel the relief by being happy again. Unfortunately, some of us don’t make it to the ‘rainbow’ stage of depression, and use suicide as the way out.
The ‘Rainbow’ stage will come one day people, even if this ‘rain’ stage has been going on for years upon overwhelming years. It’s YOU that has to make the change, motivating yourself is the key. Never give up, only when pigs fly and when comic characters have feelings.
When someone asks ‘how are you’ it seems easier to say ‘ I’m good’ rather than ‘horrible, I’m just really good at putting on a fake smile’
As if depression is something that can be remedied from the contents of a first aid kit.
To the girl who was called ‘ugly’ by the many people she’d call ‘friends’, we will remember you.
To the boy who’s sexuality made him a target of beating bullies, we will remember you.
To the high school dropout who followed the wrong path of alcohol and drugs, we will remember you.
To the man who had no home, love or hope, we will remember you.
To the woman who lost her husband to cancer, we will remember you.
And to the all the other innocent, pure minds who have taken their lives, we will remember you, and the suffering you have once endured, Is now peace within the heart.
This poem was written by a fifteen-year-old boy, most likely
in the late 1960’s, two years before he committed suicide.
To Santa Claus and Little Sisters
Once,
On yellow paper, with green lines, he wrote a poem,
And called it “Chops”,
Because that was the name of his dog,
And that’s what it was all about.
And the teacher gave him an “A”
And a gold star,
And his mother hung it on the kitchen door,
And read it to all his aunts.
That was the year his sister was born,
With tiny toenails and no hair,
And Father Tracy took them to the zoo
And let […]
People say suicide is selfish. I think it’s selfish to ask someone live painfully just so that you won’t feel pain for a week or two. Suicide may be a permanent solution to a temporary problem, but it’s also a permanent solution to a problem that grows more intense and overwhelming each day. Suicide is neither a right or wrong act, it just becomes cause of death for some people.
“Dear the Trees and Bumble Beesâ€
When she was born, her eyes glistened with glee and there was a dent in her cheek. And because her family valued her, and she was so priceless, they decided to name her “preciousâ€
When she was 2, her brother was born, and she adored him, and favoured him, and called him “bubby†Because he was her best and only pal and she gave him cuddles all the time.
When she was 5, she was shy, but loved art. She would give her mom drawings with lonesome eyes and say “I love you, mom†without the care that she had nobody.
When she […]
