Imaginary Life

Why is hope considered a good thing? Hope is the root of all suffering. If we were truly without hope, then we would accept all the pain and become numb to it. But no instead there’s this cruel thing called hope that makes us think we can beat it, so it stabs us and makes us expect salvation that we never get.
