I don’t want to build a spaceship that travels at the speed of light or create replacement organs. I don’t want to figure out a clean abundant power source or a better way to grow produce either. I can honestly say i have no idea what direction my life is going, i see no future not even what may happen tomorrow,

i see no birthdays,

i see not a glimpse of true love

or that special day in that one white dress,

i see noÂ hospitalÂ where i bring home my legacy.

I see nothing but a cloudy mist .

Failure

i can’t even begin to recount the times i’ve tried to kill myself – i started in 2nd grade – i’ve been married nearly 20 years – 4 children –

i’ve been hospitalized twice – once as an adult 2 years a go

i’m not diagnosed as personality disorder – but as i’ve read about it – i’m pretty sure i am – but this total break didn’t come until a family member did the most treacherous betrayal deed that could be done –

i never grieved the horrid act against me – but my child –

It Doesn’t Get Better

It simply gets more familiar.

Think of it this way: life is a set of challenges, challenge after challenge. The point of life is to show the world how much of a badass you are by overcoming these challenges. Yeah, it’s hard, yeah, it sucks, and yeah, it would be a lot easier to give up. But don’t you think it would be better to leave a legacy on the world, as that one awesome person who overcame so many things, and still ended up ok?
