Down in lines across the veins
ItÂ runs, drips and drains

Singing songs of total despair
the feeling one cannot compare

Euphoria down deep to the bone
drops drying in a new tone

Writing words at time with fright
a crimson flow my greatest delight

Letting out my fears
this has gone on without tears

Often scars happen at night
in day realize i’m not alright

Initiating relief slowly getting harder
life alone worse than a martyr

Pools of water stained withÂ red
i’m alive, i never wanted to do what i did

things that make you want to change

I just want to be held. is that to much to ask? i try to hold everything in but somehow i can never move on from my past. the aching i feel through my body and the tears that are stained on my face are like tatoos that can never be erased. i try to smile and say i will be okay but why do i lie i guess im trying to hide from my mistakes. the blood that comes down my leg. hoping that doing this will make my pain go away. but only for awhile. when am i going to change?

My Resting Place

My family is moving, but I don’t want to. I’m not old enough to live on my own, and it sucks. I grew up in this house, I love this house. I can run around in the dark with my eyes closed and know where everything is.

But, even though I love this house, pain lingers in the air for me. I refuse to die in a new house that I do not feel comfortable in. I know this house like all my scars. I remember when I was just a child, carefree and happy.

i never keep my eyes on the road, i never ask for any help…..i grip a razor to my chest as i cry out his name……the gillering metal in the moonlight sparkles in my face….
