I figured there are so many people with suicidal feelings here.. I want to help. I am no expert. But I knew a friend who was so depressed after a bad break up, and was actually able to rebuild her life back. She learned how to fight the sadness, the stress, the anxiety, and replace it with hope, happiness, passion to get her life back.
She was depressed and crying all the time. Me, as her best-friend, was really concerned about her that I stayed at her place for a couple nights, fearing that she might commit suicide. I couldn’t stay there forever though – I had jobs and family – then after 3 days, I left her – still concerned about her condition – I called her every night before she went to sleep, made sure that she was okay.
Then, after about a week or so, she called me at early in the morning.. She sounded happy and fresh. She said that the night before, after I hang up the call with her, she couldn’t sleep.. She browsed the Internet and found this amazing website that said that there are actually scientific ways to be happy. She wasn’t into it that time, but in her depression she was eager to try anything.
I was amazed and felt very happy for her. A week later, she was completely my old buddy I knew before. She was cheerful and passionate and happy, and she was ready to face the world again. She even taught me how to force ourselves to be happy by focusing NOT on our weakness, but on our strength.
I thought I would share this with you guys.. Hope any of you who came to this site – feeling suicidal, stressed, depressed – can learn and get your life back. Please, suicide is never the way out. If I were you, I would try anything – ANYTHING, to get out of the depressing condition and get back my happiness.. Don’t run away from the problem, face it! Once you’ve passed it, you will feel released and very happy. And you might look back and laugh at the old you. Appreciate your life. There are people out there who loves you – your mom, dad, brothers, sisters, your friends. Do it for them..
