hey everyone.
i don’t have too much to say but i’ll start off by mentioning that this post isn’t at all for myself.
there are a lot of people who come to this site and write down their experiences/situations for others to read, but many of us here don’t really receive help.
the only way things fall away from goodness is because of a lack of God. so basically what i’m trying to say is that if you really want to make your life and yourself better, you need Him, and you need Him more than just an hour a week.
if you’d like to talk about Him or just talk to me, my email address is daniellopez2316@ymail.com but if you don’t have anything nice to say, then please don’t say anything at all.
i’m 17, from texas. i’d really love to help anyone if they would just let me, but the most i can do for you is tell you/try to convince you of what i’ll say now: seek God for help and live for Him.
if anyone would like for me to pray for him/her, please just ask.
thank you very much for reading.
take care,
-Daniel

You are a good person Daniel. Keep up the good work.
Daniel, i thank you for your post, and im sure that you have nothing but good intentions in your heart. However i would argue that the idea of god is part of the problem, why do we try to seperate goodness from ourselfs, when in fact it is ourselfs we see when we search fo god. Anyone out there who is feeling lonley or depressed, needs to know that they themselves are their own god and theirfore never need to feel abandoned. Self love is the most beutiful thing in the world, it is such a shame that we try to cut away this self love with religon.
but when you love yourself, you become self-centered, and suddenly more important than everyone else. you become selfish, and don’t try to tell anyone that selfishness is a beautiful thing. if everyone simply loved others more than they did themselves – would we all not have so much more love than we could have given ourselves?
