hey everyone.
i don’t have too much to say but i’ll start off by mentioning that this post isn’t at all for myself.
there are a lot of people who come to this site and write down their experiences/situations for others to read, but many of us here don’t really receive help.
the only way things fall away from goodness is because of a lack of God. so basically what i’m trying to say is that if you really want to make your life and yourself better, you need Him, and you need Him more than just an hour a week.
if you’d like to talk about Him or just talk to me, please contact me! but if you don’t have anything nice to say, then please don’t say anything at all.
if you want to talk to me, just view this page, www.skull09.net and there’s a little way to chat with me if i’m online, and there are multiple ways to contact me listed, including AIM, MSN, Yahoo, Facebook, and email.
i’m just a 17 year old guy, from texas. i’d really love to help anyone if they would just let me, but the most i can do for you is tell you/try to convince you of what i’ll say now: seek God for help and live for Him. this has worked for me, and it has worked for others – God Himself promises for it to work.
if you’ll accept anything – please know that the meaning of life is to follow your conscience. love your neighbor as yourself.
if anyone would like for me to pray for him/her, please just ask.
thank you very much for reading.
p.s. all of you who even come to this site, need to go here too: www.givesmehope.com
take care,
-Daniel

Do not come on here preaching about God. You want to help people so be it, but do not drag your religion into this.
Daniel, please be careful when sharing your beliefs with vulnerable people. There’s a term, colonization, which refers to the ruling of indigenous peoples by foreigners. In psychotherapy, the term implies that the therapist’s values and beliefs are transposed over the uniqueness of the client. Your use of religion, although I assume well intentioned, seems very colonizing. You are using it like a cook cutter; it only fits certain parts and cuts off the rest. Most people that visit this site already feel unheard. They already feel subsumed by others beliefs. The way you use your religion has a similar effect. This may explain why you often get such an aggressive response from people here.
It’s also worth noting that you seem quite egocentric; you seem to think you have the power to help, instead of empowering people themselves. Your title say “let ME help youâ€. Not, let god help you. I’m starting to wonder if you’re really here to help people, or if you’re here to help yourself.
People are here as a last resort. Because their friends, family, “god” and life has made a turn for the worse in their life. They’re not here because they want god in their life, read the title of the website. You post same post after same post, and I don’t know about other people, but it is fricking annoying. And you comment on everyones post saying pretty much the same thing, which just seem heartless and like Andrew said, your trying to help yourself and make you feel better, rather then the people you think you are help. Give it a rest, please.
