just a thought, dont people always tell everyone to “listen to your heart” or “do what you wanna do” or “do what is going to make you happy” what about for those of us whose hearts scream for death, we want to die, and we’d be happier dead, why do these things we are told not apply then?

well sure there’s a difference between what would make you happy and what people would consider that could make you happy…
but let’s say there are also several differences between feeling suicidal… having the intent to die, like planing for it, or just being dragged with the urge of a sudden feeling of pain, and there’s a difference between wishing to die, and wanting to die, and willing to die, and planing and taking action to die…. and so on…
so when you say follow your heart… with the desire of death? well I think you need to be more specified about the form of this desire and why you feel that desire….
death is not like normal desires… because all other desires are done in the frame of a lifetime, and dying means getting out of that whole frame…
one more thing I’d like to say is that desire and what we usually say “relief” when we discuss suicide… well that’s a feeling, to fulfill the desire is to feel… and consider that dead people can’t feel…
