i hurt physically. my boyfriend saw me about to hurt myself. i still have the glass. he tried to take it away. he just doesn’t get it. he always says he wont let me die, but that’s not his choice. it’s mine.
na ah its mine! nah just joking sorry. it scares people you know theres a lot in everyones head alot of people seem like they are very straight on but sometimes it can even get to be to much especially having someone close to you in pain… cant you understand where he might be coming from if it hurts you and you dont like it why hurt yourself. i know my reasons to cut and burn…. self hatred calming technique or self loathing. but for other people that seems weird right in relationships its nice to consider thier feelings when they consider ours.
I have the same problem my boyfriend is way to worried for me!
anytime i pick a sharp obeject he stares at me with such a worried face..
And yes it is our choice!
Agreed, ma’am. It is your choice. But I suspect your bf might be getting confused signals here, just speaking from experience by being on both ends of the situation at one time or other myself. If you’re cutting yourself and he’s there to watch, he’s taking it as a plea for help. If you’re cutting yourself for your own reasons, or just gonna haul off and kill yourself (not that I’m advocating it) tell him to give you some room. He likely just doesn’t know which way to jump.
