Agreed Utti – the vast majority of folks will be focused on their own issues or they will “not want to get involved”
There used to e a time when whole communities would rally behind someone who was down on their luck or otherwise hurting and in need – now the normal and accepted response is “It’s not my problem”
i like to think that those who respond with hurtfulness are a very small minority
We’ve become apathetic thinking our positive intentions hold no power. They do more than we are prepared to take responsibility for…I’ve seen that power in action too many times, and it’s the only thing for me that makes being here worthwhile. Cheers!
Forgot to add something. Just like cj posted, we’re either motivated by love or fear (hate is an aspect of fear…ie..pushing against something you don’t want)
When we’re motivated to do, think, or feel whatever from an authentic place of love within ourselves, miracles happen. When motivated by fear (usually deciding to not do something), then people get forgotten about or aren’t reminded of how precious they are…like all the people on this forum. Lots of fantastic folk here…all good!

Does it have to be on or the other? There’s indifference too which is much more common.

Yes, true. Indifference is much more common.
I’ve seen it even in family members. What happened to love?
We have become selfish, and arrogant.
