I hate repeating myself but i am very stuck and didn’t receive any help the last time i posted about this topic.
I am asking for some advice. I don’t need to be told “Yup. It sucks. Welcome to reality.”
I need help!
Are there any effective treatments out there for Borderline Personality Disorder? I’m worried about my mental health and would prefer to ask someone with personal experience before going to a doctor.
If anyone can help me and give me some advice. It would be really appreciated.
Thanks.

Sometimes seeing a psychiatrist helps, but I strongly suggest going to the doctor to get medication for it.
I signed up in order to reply for this post. I don’t have bpd, but in all my googlings of suicide, depression, etc., I have come across lots of online communities for people with this diagnosis. I googled ‘bpd forums’ and the first two entries look pretty good. Here they are:

I hope you find some help at these 🙂
I hope you find the help you need. Good luck.
Its difficuilt to treat and there are some drugs they can use.in my experience they label you that if theyve run out of ideas i was once given the diagnosis but now its bipolar1.try some cbt therapy with a psychologist maybe it will help also look it up on google and see if its really you if you dont agree get another opinion good luck
I would recommend medical Qi-Gong. If you feel the need to know whatever your diagnosis is then you may spend a lot of time and energy trying to figure something that may be confusing. I have all sorts of symptoms and could be diagnosed with MS, chronic fatigue, low thyroid…etc.
When there are health issues there is a vibrational misalignment. Seeing a master in qi-gong helps balance all the energy in the body and that would help address what you believe to believe is bi-polar. Research it…it helped me and I practice it. It doesn’t cure everything immediately but it helps. The more you focus on what’s wrong with you, the more wrong you’ll find…the more you focus on wanting to feel good and intending nothing is more important than that…then you’ll create more of that. Law of Attraction. I’ve been where you are and you can allow it to be simple or complicated for yourself. Good luck. Take care.
From what I’ve read, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is the most effective treatment for people with Borderline Personality Disorder. It was developed by a woman who actually had BPD herself. I don’t know of any medication that is used to treat BPD specifically because BPD isn’t caused by chemical imbalances in the brain but by your upbringing and your experiences.
If you’re having trouble finding therapy, you could call a suicide hotline and ask for referrals. I did this once to find low-fee therapies. You could also read Marsha Linehan’s book “Skills training manual for treating borderline personality disorder.”
I hope this helps!
