In life everyone has challenges. All different kinds – physical, mental, situational. These do not define you. What defines you is your character and personality, not your looks.
My advice is pretty simple for everyone struggling – Become the Person You Want to Meet.
Free your mind from worries. Free your mind from hate. All negativity is like cancer, it eats away at you slowly and painfully until you have little life left. All positivity is like regrowth and renewal.
What defines you is the choices you allow, because ultimately, both of them you allow into your life. But one destroys life and one creates life.
I wish you well …

I’m never really going to be anybody, I’m not competent enough. nor smart enough. Being depressed nothing really ever seems positive, or at least longer than the time of a song then everything turns bleak again. The world is a rough place in my eyes. Cold, barren, harsh. We take and take from it, pollute it and soon to over populate it. How long can we keep it up?
hmm, i get what you are saying taul, yep life can be hard at times agree.
But life is often a series of hurdles and we have to develop resilience also to succeed. life with little effort gets little return. You may or may not be competent enough at this present time of your life. I don’t know you well enough or what if any goals you may have, but thats missing the point. To become someone, you have to plot a path forward and work at it. Life is 5% inspiration and 95% perspiration, as they say.
As human beings, we are both a good force and a negative force. The question is one of personal choice. The fact you care suggests to me you would want to perhaps make a positive contribution? So maybe start searching out voluneteer organisations you think have merit and align yourself with like values and likeminded people.
Inertia achieves nothing positive.
Less thinking about the worlds problems and more ‘doing’ stuff to solve them. Thats my advice. A ‘whoa is me’ attitude is never a great problem solving technique im sure you would agree.
Stay well and Take care.
I do agree! I just can’t keep it up 🙁 😐 Like even when you say make a positive difference I can’t help but think that nothing matters. We’re destroying the world, like there’s no saving us. The world is a competition and everyone is swept under the rug if you can’t keep up, people are left behind. Countries are being annihilated and the world doesn’t get along. What bad things are to come?? More destruction/terrorism/pollution? :/ I will look into volunteer services though ;p
I do actually agree that as a human race we are often callous and uncaring enough. I definitely don’t disagree. BUT ….not everyone is like that. I know when you are young and if you had some negative experiences, we then use them to paint the entire would in the same colour.
Fact is there are many many many good, decent people out there that you will never ever hear about. Doctors, nurses, hell even lawyers, volunteer workers, teachers, journalists, etc etc.
The defining characterisitic is not just what job people do, but rather HOW they do it.
eg you could do a nurses course and go work for Médecins Sans Frontières if you wanted adventure ..it is an international, independent organisation for medical humanitarian aid. Its jst one example.
ALWAYS “TRY” think of a number of options in life vs just 1 or 2.
The world is bigger and better then you might think.

You’re right, I’m far too negative.
The mind is like a spotlight. if you only shine it on the negative things in life, that is all you will see. try shine it on something else for a change. You sound pretty bright actually, you will go far if you steer a decent course. Take care.
