“Let love but gently touch the strings,
‘Twill all be sweet again!” Â
“Kindness glides about my house.
Dame Kindness, she is so nice!
The blue and red jewels of her rings smoke
In the windows, the mirrors
Are filling with smiles.
What is so real as the cry of a child?
A rabbit’s cry may be wilder
But it has no soul.
Sugar can cure everything, so Kindness says.
Sugar is a necessary fluid,
Its crystals a little poultice.
O kindness, kindness
Sweetly picking up pieces!
My Japanese silks, desperate butterflies,
May be pinned any minute, anesthetized.
And here you come, with a cup of tea
Wreathed in steam.
The blood jet is poetry,
There is no stopping it.
You hand me two children, two roses!..”

Blood is life but not when you cut it with a knife .Do not mutilate the beauty given to you , why because its yours to do as you wish ? Cutting is not beautiful and orchestrated for meloncolly measures. the heart that pumps that precious blood is as diamonds to those who cant live as you can. The teen that speak of is 16 not yet ready to drive, not yet had her first kiss , not yet to go to a dance or aboy to hold her hand. What of this fair maiden? 16 one night storming and her head feeling light, she lays down and a fever fills her body. she will not wake, the ambulance rushed to take her hot burning body to the hospital . she lays there unaware soon she will not be there. She smiles and sweats and her head grows 15 times its size she cries.she wants no one to see her her hair has fallen our of her head. the next day her head swells to the size of a pumpkin wieghing near 15bls. she has luekmia. the weeks to come she lives but fights for her life. soon it endsher sentence came soon enough. at age 16 she died. she was my cousin. a death sentence that was not beautiful and lovely like in the movies…..alice…..death is final and death is cruel live life while you can because those that have a death sentence and could not livethe life you can……
You’re back. Nice post btw.
