My dear, there is no such thing as being perfect. Nobody is – everyone is different. Don’t reject yourself. Change the things you don’t want about yourself so you can achieve what makes your life more enjoyable (i.e. “have a job and kids”). You know what’s good for you, and what’s not. My dear, don’t blame your parents because they are dispassionate and demanding – let them answer for their own wrong. We can’t change how our parents are like. My dear, be courageous and be the change you want to see. Be courageous and bold.
Dont hang out with the drugies.
You parents only want what’s best for you.
Parents want what is best for their image of themselves and many parents cannot see past that to see their children as individuals. They are scared for themselves so they are scared for you.
I like the way you made a declaration for yourself that was not just a total ‘no’ to everything they want … to exist only in rebellion is as dependent as complete compliance. Looks from your list like you are practicing learning to trust your intuition.
Drugs can give the illusion, the sensation of perfection that feels like home to those with families that demand perfection so please be careful of that.
‘Everything looks perfect from far away’ a line from a song from the soundtrack of the movie Garden State.
