just feeling so down today……….. hae been seeing a psychologist and my thoughts of self mutilation and suicide went away for a while but the past couple days ive just felt terrible and hae been thinkin of so many ways to just make everything stop. anyone know any tactics to help get back into a good mindset or to stop the saddness??

Hi, hidden_scars… I try to release my thoughts in writing… and I try to get out for a walk to release some energy. Sometimes releasing the thoughts and energy help a bit. Keeping a journal has helped me, too… and maybe it can help when meeting with the psychologist so you remember specific events and details of how you responded. That could help with the process. No matter what, don’t give up on yourself… Remember that you can lead yourself forward.
thanks for your tips =) sometimes it just helps knowing that someone else in the world knows how you feel life is so lonely at times even when people are surrounding you it seems. and at times giving up just gets so tempting although a piece of me screams to keep pushing.
I understand that, hidden_scars… Just remember that you’re not alone. Many of us are walking in similar shoes… and I’ve come to appreciate that piece of me that tells me to push forward. Sometimes it helps me realize the potential that still exists. I hope you keep pushing!
Hey there! I’m going through this “saddness” too. I don’t know what’s the cause for you saddness but I know it’s pretty much the same thing.
When I’m sad, I try (unsuccesfully sometimes) to play games on my computer or eat a cookie. It works (most of the time).
