Are you living a healthy lifestyle? Are you so bored in class that your mind wanders? I’m constantly dreaming and calculating so I’m always “hereâ€. I try to be enthusiastic about what I’m learning about and connect it with my basic pool of knowledge. If you’re tired then you’re not going to be able to function at all. Get a regular sleep schedule and stick to it.
Yes.
But I feel that you have it backwards.
I believe that because your mind is always there, always thinking, always talking, often negatively, you yourself are not here.
Your mind, your own thoughts, block your true self from being in the here and now.
You are not your mind.
Peace
I try but some nights i have insomnia and it sucks…. I love social studies and thats the only class im doing really good in… math i fall asleep in and i feel like im not there…
Yea math sucks. I’m in calculus and I want to shoot myself in the foot. Yea social studies is easy (cough cough) nice, I liked it so much I took art history this year! LOL Insomnia is not cool bro. Gotta work on that sleep schedule. Stay away from bright lights (phone and computer) and coffee 2 hours before bed and take melatonin if you still can’t sleep.
I’ve been experiencing the same thing for +5 years
moreover:
when talking to people, or some other social thing, my mind will often wander & people tend to take that for disinterest .. it usually isn’t unless the conversation is small talk, I don’t like small talk
when I am by myself, my mind switches from absent to very active
I’m often tired at the end of the day, especially if I’ve had to deal w/ a lot of people .. I’ve also noticed I feel more alive and am more productive at night
Overall, I think you need to try to spend more time doing things you believe in and value, and enjoy. Activities where you forget yourself, can be really invigorating.
Also, try meditating now and then. It’ll help you live in the present, enjoying the moment. Here’s the method I use:

Take care 🙂
The method that I use is very simple and simple makes it attainable for all.
Stop thinking.
Learn to BE without constant thoughts in your head.
This is the meaning of being present.
Even for just moments each day, a space free from the constant voice in your head will give you peace.
