I want to be level, balanced like everyone else. But I feel that I can’t tell anyone for the fear of being exposed, my family would never understand if I seen a shrink.
I feel sympathy for you in your situation. I read that you realise your life could be better & you want to do something about it which is great. Can you see one without them knowing? You can talk to a doctor, a general practioner about this stuff you know. They are bound by rules of patient confidentiality and may be able to refer you to someone else.
Maybe you realise your family’s ignorant but right now you havent got the strength & courage to challenge them? I dont know.
For me, the more I’ve talked to people over the years the more I’ve realised that there’s a hell of a lot of people out there unbalanced & not level & a lot of people trying like hell to cover up like crazy so noone will notice!! so dont worry too much that you’re crazy!! good luck
Thanks, I really mean that. It feels good to just tell someone. I see so many people each day that thinks I’m on top of the world right now.
I had to stop working because I became disabled, my intestine are inflamed and sometimes it just hurts to move. The social security disability keeps me and my self hate problems well funded. Everybody says “you don’t work anymore, you got a great band, the disability buys you the best equipment. You’ve really got thing happening” they would probably look at me with hate if I told them I’m not happy. What more do you want? I want to not hate myself. I want to not think that’s there’s something wrong with me.
My Medicare goes into effect next month, will that help pay for ……counseling (see that just feels wrong typing that “counseling”treatment”)
I have an intestine problem too which is why I’ve been on steroids for the past 3 years. You shouldn’t worry about what people think. Everyone wants different things.
