Sometimes I forget what it’s like to be happy. Actually, that’s most of the time. I’m losing my mind. For real. Diagnosed schizophrenia. I miss clear thoughts. I miss not thinking I’m going crazy. Sorry for my ramblings.
They are definitely real. The brain is quite an intricate organ, and like with any other part of the body, things can go wrong. The upshot of that is that they can also (most of the time) be treated. Schizophrenia in particular is quite treatable, but it may take a bit of time to find the right balance of medications. Keep trying s_b
the mind is a very powerful thing. be careful of it.! i see things for what they are. ive figured out what the government are doing. everybody has been brainwashed since birth for years and years. they give ya pills so ur slow dumb shit and wont figure out what they doing!
@ thinkskygee: I don’t think that kind of thinking is helpful. I have been myself in psychiatric clinics multiple times, and I have talked to plenty of people with a variety of psychological and psychiatric illnesses. I’ve seen first hand the benefits quality treatment can provide.
While the use of medication needs to be always carefully considered regarding benefits versus negative side-effects, I don’t believe for a second that there is a conspiracy to keep people dumbed down and brainwash them. This kind of scare-mongering only prevents people who really need it from seeking help.
That’s an overgeneralisation like saying vaccinations cause death. Yes, there have been incidents where vaccinations have caused death, or other quite undesirable side effects. Yet overall they have saved incomparably more lives than they have damaged.
Psychiatric drugs of course have an impact on the brain, otherwise they wouldn’t work. Many of them have side effects, as I have admitted freely. Those side effects (and risks of serious side effects) need to be weighed against the benefits. But most of the time the benefits outweigh the risks and side-effects.
For what it’s worth, I have been myself taking medications for about 2 1/2 years now, had to make many changes, and have not yet found the perfect solution. But I always make an informed decision what I take, and all decisions are made in dialogue with my psychiatrist, he never “makes” me take anything.
@thinkskygee: the government has no control over me, and no say in what I take. Without those drugs I would no longer be alive, how would that be in anybody’s interest? Ask my children!

Do you actually believe psychiatric illnesses are real?
I think so…what about you?

take you medicine and try to have a better life its not your choice to be like this i wish you the best
No, I mean the brain can go wrong but I don’t believe in the way psychiatry has labelled it to do so.

I read psychiatric drugs are hazards to the brain. I have akathisia and had hyperprolactinemia from them.
the “success” cases are when the government win and regain control of you.. think about it man shits fucked up
