Don’t quit

Only 20 minutes ago i stumbled onto this site. I wasn’t looking to share a story about my life, or connect with others who felt the same as i do. I simply was looking for a small amount of inspiration for a friend of mine who’s thought of suicide. After finding this site i was instantly reeled in by a numerous amount of stories. Stories written by people right now just like myslef. Only a few minutes ago i read one about someone who wishes to die right now. And i know they’re not the only one wishing for the same relief..

Yes, i have thought about suicide. Sworn i was depressed. Just knew there was no hope. But unlike many of the people whoms posts ive read, i am not going to carry out my thoughts and i know that my situation is not as awful as it could be. We all have a story and i know many of us feel as if the only was out is to end our suffering. I know i may not be able to relate to many of you, but i too have a story. No one’s life is as perfect as it seems.. no matter how big of a smile they put on. Yes, you may have it worst than someone else. You may feel like there’s no one left, hate your own reflection, question everything, feel worthless… but even i refuse to think that there’s no hope. You want a change, be the change. There is always someone to talk to, always someone who has it worst. I don’t even know you or what you’re going through…but even i’m here to talk.

I stumbled onto this site by accident, but feel like i can’t leave without writing something. There is hope, things can get better. No it may not happen as quick as you’d like, but don’t give up.
