It’s ironic… And sad, really.
Some people are so positive and full of hope, but unfortunately they have to face death so soon (be it from illness, accidents, etc.)
Some people pray to have their life ended because they lost all hope in life, but yet they have many, many, MANY healthy years ahead of them.
It’ll be nice if we could trade places…

very very true point you made!
It’s really some sort of sick joke, isn’t it? If there was a terminally ill man about my age, that really wanted a nice suburban life with a wife and child that are generally easy to get along with (or he could at least work with) and he had the same positive attitude I once had, I’d happily swap with him. I think he’d do a better job than me and I would die happy if I could give a deserving person a second chance.
It is ironic, but it also means that you have not yet served your purpose. You’re meant for something great, just wait and see why you are still here. Tomorrow is a mystery but it may be Your day!
