I know it’s not good for me but I often find myself reminding myself what a loser ****** piece of shit I am. I’ve had that since I was a kid. I’ve wanted to evaporate into nothingness since I was 4.
Well, I have had times where the way I felt about myself changed.
And like you, from a very young age I felt like I was nothing and wanting to disappear into thin air.
Very deep rooted from childhood.
I made some very good friends eventually, who brought me up, showed me love and care I’d never had, and, for a short while, existing wasn’t so painful, I thought maybe I wasn’t so bad. I got a glimpse of health – emotionally and physically. But the old thoughts and feelings always find a way of creeping back in, knocking me down, digging their claws into me, telling me I’m a useless piece of shit etc etc.
I have never really put in the work though, (besides for determination – fake it till you make it type thing) so I think, maybe it is possible, with some intense therapy, going all the way back to the 4 year old you, working your way up until now, and it can take years of work, I’v seen other people do it, with results (I always think i’m a special case that cannot be helped) – but, yes, I think it is possible to change, it just depends how much work you are willing to put into it and how committed you are to it.. and also what kind of support you have around you.
You can start off by writing something good about yourself each day.
One thing, or one good thing you did. Even half a thing.
Because there will be at least one – if not many more.
You can’t be that bad. But you are feeding off all the negative thoughts, it’s habit. It’s ingrained in you – start changing that if your willing..
mimsicle nailed it if you ask me. Isn’t that kind of everyone question here “can we change.” I feel some of us might but as much hope as I have I do not know if I will be able to, but it depends what you holding on to that destroying your self image if you alone believe you are shit or you and others, or if you really are shit. If you good and simply putting these thoughts into your own brains your battle to change should not be as hard as if your surroundings and if you have a personality disorder that keep you stuck in your ways. – good luck
Of course you can change. Not that you should. But if you think that changing would make you feel better then it’s definitely possible. I’ll be here if you need help with anything 🙂
@Silentblue I dont know you nor do i know what made you feel this way but i can honestly say that you can and will find it in you to ‘change’. I swear that I have faith in you. If u need to talk to someone I’m always here. Best of luck *Hug*

do you use ****** on the sense you are gay or just insulting yourself? i think it is possible to change the way you feel about yourself.
It is possible to change but def is not easy. The way I feel about myself changes daily.
