Technically these can all be attributed to J.K Rowling, but I was surprised to see so many meaningful quotes coming from just Dumbledore, so he got his own list. I thought these would be interesting to read.
“Indifference and neglect often do much more damage than outright dislike.”
“Do not pity the dead Harry. Pity the living, and, above all, those who live without love.â€
“It is important to fight and fight again, and keep fighting, for only then can evil be kept at bay though never quite eradicated.â€
“Ah,music, a magic beyond all we do here!”
“People find it far easier to forgive others for being wrong than being right.”
My favorite one:
“You do care. You care so much you feel as though you will bleed to death with the pain of it.â€

wise old Dumbledore, he was like Harry’s yoda…I wonder who would win a fight between Dumbledore and Yoda 😀
That is a good question. 🙂 I would say Dumbledore, but I haven’t seen Star Wars in a long time so I can’t really support my point.
Hahaaha Dumbledore. My cousin told me Santa wasn’t real so i used to think Dumbledore was the real santa. i bugged my mom for a month asking if i was good could i go to Hogwarts and sit on Santa’s lap. i also asked her if i would become a witch if i touched his beard and glitter fell since santa had magic now. i was a strange child.
Yea Dumbledore might take it, didn’t he have some sort of special wand? Dumbledore probably also had the better quotes although people are probably more familiar with the Yoda quotes since they have been around longer. It wasn’t even so much that Yoda said anything profound everyone just loved the way he said it. Its been a while since I watched any Star Wars movies either.
“Do not pity the dead Harry. Pity the living, and, above all, those who live without love.†That’s the one that stands out for me BehindtheSmile. Thanks for sharing these! Good old Dumbledore!
