To the one I helplessly watch fade. Remember: Identity crisis doesn’t have to be a curse. I thought of it as such for years, but then I realized that it allowed me to be whoever I wished. This led to the birth of Nolen, as well as a beautiful relationship that I will cherish always. You may feel lost and hopeless, but you know there’s a part of you inside that lurks in the shadows and bides it’s time.  It was born out of despair and raised Alpha to be manifested through Riley. You were in love with life for a short moment. Just because we don’t talk, doesn’t mean that we don’t share existence. YOU know who and what you are. Anyone who says different is wrong or lying. You are just as strong now as you were then. I know it scares you to feel alone, but you are not.  We share thoughts and dreams and perceptions. Don’t forget that if you have any questions, I am always here.
On a somewhat different note: I’ve been researching a man named Alan Watts. He was a Buddhist who died in the seventies, but he had a remarkable concept. He said that we were just an ongoing process from the big bang. He compared it to taking a black bottle of ink and throwing it against a white canvas on the wall.  The initial splatter represents the big bang and the lines that begin to drip down the canvas are representatives of everything that has happened since the big bang. As the ink rolls downward, it changes course and hues, finding the most efficient path. We are 14 trillion year old carbon that is dripping down the canvas. Our forms change shape, speed, direction and color, but we continue flowing outward in a beautiful array.
This may make you feel a little hopeless, but at the same time, it should remind you that we are all connected to everything. You are still with me.
