Hello all,
It’s me again. So some of you might know already (from ******) that I attempted to kill myself last week. On Tuesday I went to bed feeling like shit. I’ve been taking sleeping pills for months now and I still can’t get to sleep. It’s the most frustrating experience I’ve ever had. Anyway, I had taken 3 pills the night before and still couldn’t sleep. So, the next morning I was still completely off my head… Kinda’ high I suppose. All my suicidal thoughts just became too much. I took about 25-30 tablets. My house-mate found me and called security who in turn called the ambulance. I spent the night in A&E and now I’m back at my apartment. I feel really shitty and hopeless and I don’t even have any pills left. My foster-parents have stopped talking to me and I have no idea what’s gonna’ happen next.
I really want this to end now but I don’t seem to have the guts or even the friggin’ Â energy to get out of bed and set things in order so that I can leave this World in peace.
Peace out,
dededone

my dad hasn’t been able to sleep in years, but I’m pretty sure he’s only frequently used over-the-counter sleeping pills. He told me he took Ambien for a while and it actually worked pretty well. Can you get a prescription?
Yeah, I was on prescribed pills but I somehow doubt that anyone will give me a prescription anymore, lol.
🙂
is there anything else you can do about insomnia? are you anxious?
Well, at the minute. I’m just sitting it out and hoping that I will tire myself out so much that my body will have to sleep. Four days straight now with zero sleep. Fingers crossed!
ugh. the longest I’ve gone was 39 hours on a long flight and it was hell. Good luck 🙂
there are other meds that make you tired that arent specifically sleeping pills. seroquel is awesome for me, i cant sleep at all if i forget to use it. and other antidepressants are commonly used as sleeping meds, like trazodone and remeron. they are more willing to prescribe those because they have less chance of you abusing them. just a thought. hope you get some sleep.
