I went to a birthday BBQÂ today .. people were cheerful, there was more than enough cake .. it felt nice to be there
when it was time to leave, I was supposed to say good bye to everyone (a tradition) and I thought:
“what’s the point ? I’m gonna meet those people again .. say hi and good bye again .. fuck this shit”
so I went straight to the car
my reaction = the result of sthg that’s been building up for the past 5+ years
in life it’s always the same faces, always the same convos, always the same laughs and complains ..
always the same scripts and I’m fed up with this
routine and social conventions are growing on my nerves as times passes
to rewrite the script while maintaining a decent lifestyle, you gotta make good money
I’m jaded, outside the box and broke so the power of changing the script is like a half inch dick on a 7ft guy

I know exactly what you mean. The thing that really helped is to stop taking it all so seriously. Treat it as a game.
Then you can play the game.
Also, I don’t bother to attend EVERY social event every weekend. Gets boring. Only once in a while, so it’s special when you do see people.
Find yourself a one inch woman and everybody’s happy.
This reminds me of that joke about the genie with bad hearing. The wisher gets a tiny piano player.
“I didn’t ask for a 12 inch PIANIST”!!
