B) This fuckin cutting shit is so stupid. I guess it’s some kind of emo cry for help to show the world that you’re crazy in some way and different and not a “happy shiny”. I’m sorry, but I’m worried about the youth today.

Emo shit? No. I would stop cutting myself if I could. I hate myself because of it. For attention? Hell no, I don’t go around flaunting my cuts. I don’t show people. That would be sick. There are, of course, disgusting people who hurt themselves for attention, but it is not at all fair of you to go around assuming every person who cuts themselves is an attention whore. Be reasonable here.
Jack.. The youth of today have followed on from the previous generation so they have either learnt from them or not been given enough of a lesson in life to know how to cope with these feelings.. I’m young yes but I know people in their 40’s and 50’s that have self harmed in later life so maybe you shouldn’t be so quick to judge..

Yes, I read that book many times when I was little. It had the same effect on me.
@jack86: you don’t sound ‘worried about the youth today’ you sound like an arse hole that knows nothing about what some people go through. Some people cut for control, some people cut because they need the physically feel the pain, some people cut until they have a constant blood flow, and some people (like me) do all 3. You can’t have a valid opiniun on something if you have no idea.

@sono, s2419, Sorry brahs, I guess I just didn’t understand cutting. I still don’t “understand” it, but it’s not what I thought it was. I remember someone once showing me his scars, but of course that’s an observational bias. Obviously if he showed it to me he was willing to let people see it. Never thought about the people who were cutting that didn’t show.
I still say don’t do anything that scars though. Someday you may be fucking some fine ass *****, and you wanna tell her you have the scars from cutting?? I don’t know, could be alright, but it’d be better if you cut scars out in a way you could justifiably claim them as scars from badass injuries.
