I guess so. There was a short period in time where I faked the symptoms of being a cancer ridden human on the verge of death in the work place. It afforded me many opportunities, and it was a great con. Honestly people with cancer have a great ability for manipulation. I found it empowering.
It would bring, I think, a great sense on unease. People are unsure of death overall; what will be waiting on the other side? If there is an other side, of course. Terminally ill patients don’t have much of a choice in the matter- not as much as simply ill patients. Although this sounds a bit… well, I’m not sure, but something negative… With suicide, we have a choice, we can live, or we can choose to end our lives. That choice, I think, is very important. The time given with that choice is also important, because things can happen in the blink of an eye, things and feelings and thoughts that can change our decision in a snap. A positive, life-giving snap, perhaps.

You are terminally ill. It’s called being alive.
