I’ve been wondering the same thing. my medication never did anything for me and I don’t want to be forced on something again. Unfortunately I don’t know the answer cause when I went everyone accepted the medication without fighting.
I’m going to ask my therapist today. It’s the one reason I’m avoiding hospitalization. Did you know the UK has banned all anti-depressants except Prozac (which is weird because Prozac is basically just sodium fluoride and is as poisonous as the rest of them)? They alter your brain chemistry permanently. If you don’t have a problem being on them forever, fine, but I do have a problem with it.
When I went, I gave them all my meds history (name & dosage)… They used it to determine that part of my treatment during my stay. Also, if they have any kind of group events/therapy, I encourage you to participate. Lastly, if they allow you a notebook and a small marker (pens/pencils not allowed) you should keep a journal.

I don’t think they can make you do anything you don’t want to. But why wouldn’t you want to take them when they can help?

Generally they can only force you to take medication if a failure to do so would put you or others at immediate risk. So, not really.
And no, the UK hasn’t banned all antidepressants except prozac.
hiya duuke, long time no speak
@willow…interesting. I’m on Prozac now but am telling my dr that I want off.

You’ll be… better.
Hi Birthright
Yeah, I know. What if we never speak to each other again and just stare at the screen in silence? That would be really depressing.
