“Hello?”
“I can see it now.”
“See what?”
“You finding me here.”
“Jason, I don’t even talk to you, we’re not even friends, why would I find you dead?”
“Because, I’ll make sure you find me. You’re the reason I’m doing this. It’s your fault.”
“What are you doing? What’s my fault?”
“My blood is on your hands.”
“What do you mean?”
“Look outside your window, Brent.”
“What? Hello? Jason alright fine I’ll go to the window, just answer me. Hello?”
“……………………………………………………-cough-………-cough-………………”
Brent went over to his window and looked out to see Jason hanging from the tree in his front yard. Jason’s wrists were sliced wide open, and there was blood trickling down from his mouth. Brent remembered Jason’s words… “My blood is on your hands.”

… and after Brent called the paramedics and told the facts to the police he walked back to his room and shook his head and thought … “wow, was jason really messed up, it’s sad that he actually did this and thought that i will somehow accept “blame” for HIS actions”
Jason could have walked away and left Brent to be the and gone on to never see Brent again and find other friends and interact with people who are positive and compassionate and otherwise like-minded … but instead, Jason decided to obsess and wallow in the negativity that Brent projected and let it eat him alive until it twisted him to the point that any rational and objective thought could be seriously considered an option.
before you ever think that suicide is a viable and pragmatic solution – pretend that the same situation is happening to someone you love and care about – then ask yourself – “Is this the BEST solution i’d tell them to pursue to handle it?”
pragmatic dawg
COrrection – 2nd paragraph is supposed to read:
“Jason could have walked away and left Brent to be the ((insert narrow minded, negative and unwelcome behavior here)) and gone on to never see Brent again …”
