Hmm, I’m not sure how to describe it. When I read a good book/manga, watch a great movie or anime, I can find it beautiful; rain or the shadows and sun in Spring and Summer is often beautiful; Animals that look amazing. I don’t often find beauty in people, because for me, beauty is about 90% personality, what’s inside and 10% of how it looks.
For example I like the weather and animals because it’s basically what you see, is what you get, no surprises. Books/movies are more complex, I like that they can make you laugh, cry and love. They can touch your heart, and they can be on your mind years after reading them.
However, thinking about the above, I HAVE found people beautiful.
But it’s mostly something about them specifically that makes them so beautiful. For example, when someone says something to you that is unexpected, and it helps you through a rough time, or you remember those words because they touch you. Well that’s pure beauty. When someone physically looks amazing, they are beautiful too.
My boyfriend for example, is one of the most beautiful people I have ever met. The things he says, his facial expressions, his personality, his touch. He is beyond beautiful.
I hope this makes sense. I have never tried to explain what beauty is before.
But thinking about it made me a little happier so thank you.
Beauty is on the inside and if you can’t get past what’s on the outside then you could be missing out on something great. Think before you open you mouth or type and post because it stays on the Internet. Remember that.
Beauty isn’t always looks. Most of the time the most “beautiful” people aren’t super attractive physically more mentally. Yeah you can be drop dead gorgeous physically but if you have an ugly personality your looks don’t meet a damn thing really. Everyone’s definition is different but to me true beauty is who you are inside.
It’s tough for me to answer but one of my ex girlfriends was definitely the most beautiful person I’ve ever met. Her smile, her laugh, her voice, her hair, how she dressed, the things she said.. but maybe I’m confusing beauty with love. I wouldn’t change a thing about her.. In my eyes, she was perfect.
I think beauty is ultimately how much of a loving, caring and considerate person you are. I have a theory about beauty actually, you’ve got to see beauty in other people to truly be beautiful. I’ve had a pretty rough time in the dating world, mainly online, and to be honest most womens continual apraisal of themslevs and dis apraisal of me (if they’re the right words) made me just think that they weren’t seeing anything good about me just because there wasnt anything really good about them. I realise that it might just be the area I’m in and the probable truth that most of the best women don’t go on online dating sites anyway but it did change my idea of what true beauty is.
I’ve learnt really through the years to find a beauty in things I can relate too, ie: pain.. hence the name! .. So I tend to find more beauty in people who feel it, I truly think it is kinda beauty building but yet all the time masking it in ways aswell. I could probably go on about this for ages, ever infact, but yeah, seeing the beauty in dark situations, be able to do that and you can be pretty sure that theres beauty in you.
The world becomes a very dark place if when you’re in the dark no one becomes a light for you. Life isnt all roses and in my oppinion, weeds walk to roses. Good thread idea btw.
I like this alot. Im sure theres alot good about you.People just have to be willing to look past the physical part. Not that im calling you ugly or anything. And thank you i guess im just curious to know what everyone thinks is ‘beautiful’. And for people not giving me a second look becase my physical appearance and im not your typical “pretty girl” but i’m okay with that because i feel somewhat comfortable with myself. Excuse my poor grammar and lack of good spelling.
It wasnt my physicalness, it was just the fact that there are so many gold diggers looking for money and a glamourous pose. I am actually quite handsome.
Also I should of really used the word ‘beautiful’ in my post where I said ‘good’ a couple of times, but I’m sure you knew what I meant.
I also dont see how people wouldnt give you a second look, I guess taste vary’s. I’m not usually into the coloured hair thing myself but I think you’ve got a pretty cool look. Bit of a ‘rock chick’ kinda thing going on, maybe?
I guess. And thanks and i guess i cant really say thats not what it looks like but i say so. I just hate being called scene because people at school say to me scene is dead go shave your head.
You are an individual. Trust me i know what its like. I went to a private school with uniforms and everything from 6-12. I was the only person with orange in their hair and i looked “emo” as everyone put it. Now I’m the only guy at my job with snake bites and dyed hair. I’m odd :l My hair was lavendar, before i left home earlier this year it was turquoise, and before that teal. Now I washed out the color andy bangs are pink, white, and gold. I plan on going neon green soon. My point is….fuck it those people suck. My boss and the guys at my work like to tease me about my piercings, hair color, and thefact that when I’m not in my work clothes I wear black skinnys with hevy duty chains on each side of my pants. Hahaha im so fucking weird but I like wearing what I want…..I spent my whole life being what they wanted…..i finally snapped during my years at the hell hole private school and did whatever i wanted. Oh and I’m on lunch break so ill comment back on your photo later. Jojo forget those people. Be you and no one else, because they’re fake and you’re real. Also my definition of beauty….well i have different views on it so I’m natrowing it down to humans. I see a human as truly beautiful if they are themselves. Of they are what they want to be, a unique individual not afraid of taking a left i stead of a right when everyone else took a right.

I know this sounds cliché, but everyone’s definition of beauty is different. And there is no logical explanation for it sometimes. For me, it is a combination of physical as well as personality traits as well as the chemistry that I just feel for that person.
So it doesn’t necessarily mean thin, lots of makeup, or even what most people would think of as beautiful.

ANYTHING BUT UGLY PEOPLE!
Obviously you have an ugly personality which makes an ugly person. If you have nothing intelligent to say but that get off my blog.
I know everybody does that’s why I’m asking your guys opinions.
