Why is there suffering? Why are we here? I don’t care if these questions sound cliche, they are the most important questions that we as a species and as a biological life form should be asking. Â Right now as I type this I have just finished the first post on my suicide journal, and I can feel the “energy” in my hands and my fingers. Â The energy I feel is real, you may say it is just adrenaline, or excitement, or arousal, or whatever. Â I tell you it is my soul or my energy body being stimulated by the art form of writing. Â It is metaphysical the art form itself actually reaches out and touches my soul and I feel it and it is real. Â Someone like my who is uber rational and naturally skeptical to the extreme, as all smart and rational humans should be, cannot deny the probability of my experiences matched up with so many others of similar experiences coupled with the unexplainable( how is that not a word?!) and the unknown. Â Bear with me now I am not a writer although I’ve always wanted to be, just never had the willpower or the vibration :).
So what is vibration?  The future religion of mankind will be a spiritual one.  Why would an alien travel billions of miles to get to us when they could just change energy states not bound by the laws of classical mechanics and get to earth by the force of their own consciousness?  It sounds amazing, and it is, and it is possible.  My first out of body experience made that very clear to me.  We are not our bodies, we our are spirit.  There are other spirits around us everywhere on earth and throughout the universe.  Now, to the rational mind this seems unbelievable, preposterous even.  But when you finally have your own out of body experience, you will see for yourself that it is real. You don’t even have to have an out of body experience.  Do you believe that it is logical that we can explain sightings like the Blessed Virgin Mary or other things like that as merely mass hallucinations?  The idea that mass hallucinations are even used to describe a phenomena are just hilarious to me. To the scientists who believe in mass hallucinations, I say that those scientists are mass hallucinations lol.Â
If you don’t believe in this stuff, try meditating, try inducing an astral projection via steps online (I’ve only even had a mini one myself) focus on your third eye. Â Trust me, the first 4 days I tried focusing on my third eye using third eye meditation nothing happened….until it did appear, AND DID IT APPEAR. Am I just fooling myself? No, no I am not. Â These subtle energies are real.
I apologize about how shitty this post is, I didn’t even edit it. More to come later.

Hi ayayayay, I just posted in your starvation post. Thanks for inspiring me.
“Why is there suffering? Why are we here?”
I’ve found my own answers but they aren’t necessarily true for everyone. To me, suffering exists because it motivates life. A fish suffers because there is no food, so it crawls onto land and eventually evolves into a more complex living organism. Suffering, strife and pain have inspired almost every significant advance I can think of.
If we can distance ourselves from the pain, if we can observe ourselves from the perspective of aliens with no bodies, we would see that this thing called “suffering” is simply a fuel source that propels these tiny living things.
I do believe in spiritualism, but my spiritualism is a very cold, unemotional one. No virgin marys or buddhas floating tranquilly in my universe. I do believe that consciousness (or “the soul” for lack of a better word) is separate from our physical bodies. But beyond that, I haven’t found any religion, philosophy or spiritual movement that gels with the logic I’ve developed over the years. I’m open to all ideas, though.
I’ve experimented with astral projection, lucid dreaming, meditation and many techniques of achieving a supernatural state. The most powerful was lucid dreaming, but in the end I couldn’t prove that it was any more than a very vivid hallucination. When I came to that conclusion, I suddenly lost the ability to “leave my body” and haven’t been able to for 10 years or more. Apparently, once you peek behind the curtain, you can never fool yourself into believing in magic ever again.
I hope you can take this further than I ever did. As you can guess by my presence at a suicide forum, all my spiritual studies didn’t amount to squat. Did I take a wrong turn somewhere? Definitely. Can I get back on the path? Never. But I can still observe vicariously…
The future religion of mankind will be –

Yes. People in large groups are exponentially more stupid than people by themselves.
