How do you get through holiday when you are all alone, and yes I mean all alone, my son is with his father for christmas and im here by myself i have no other family i am just so tired of hurting and crying the pain is so great sometimes i scream how can i make it stop.

….You can come here…… its where the unwanted come…..I’ll be here on Christmas day once mom goes to sleep. Last year I spent it at the beach, wife (when I had one) just slept all day, so it was just mom and I.
Im not celebrating Christmas this year coz its just not in me to do so. Sounds like you are also in the same position. With no family here other than mom, its very quiet here. Its deepressing too, coz I know she is old and one day I will be totally alone, but at that point, I’ll reexamine my life and determine if it is all worth it. Thats in the future though.
Do you have any friends? My wife took the friends I had (scared them away actually), the ***** she was.
thank you, atleast you have your mom, my mom is 90 in a nursing home in the final stages of alzheimers she dosent me much less christmas, yes my exhusband also took our friends told them i was crazy. I did go to see her but she was crying wanting her mother and dad I couldnt stay I give her a christmas present and left been home all day by myself when I do call the few people i still talk with, there busy. So instead of crying I took 2 loratabs, I know this isnt right but I have to have some kind of relief. I hope you have had a good of a day as possible, I do feel your pain really I understand more than you might think i do.
Im so sorry uoi have to deal with that, truly. And I know how tragic alzheimers is. my dad died from that back in 2005. I believe its worse to lose your mind than physical health. My mom especially suffered, took care of him as best we could, it was so much for her, she had a heart attack from it. I worry about when she goes, if my life is not/or doesnt look like its worth living anymore, I’ll have nothing left and will reconsider my position in this world. What are loratabs? I found out last night alcohol and Clonazepam work well together, I had a good nights sleep for a change. Today was nothing special. I worked in the garage, spent time with mom, was on here a lot.
