You only get one chance… Once you’re dead its over… Make it count… And remember to do whatever you want as long as you aren’t hurting others…. Give life a chance before you give up…
Aww. You’re actually sounding optimistic for once? This isn’t the guy I know, did somebody else hack your account? J/k, I’m glad you’re thinking more positively. π
@Persephone yeah I may seem optimistic but honestly I thought I was realistic… I try not to be too negative or positive…it distorts expectations and perspectives being too far on either side
…and from the center, you can get a good feel for how far away from center others are.
It’s funny though, that the OP is perceived as “being positive.” Are we all so down that neutrality seems positive? Perhaps.
OTOH: some people would perceive stating that this is the only chance you ever get, as “negativity,” due to the omission of potential afterlives and reincarnations and heavens and stuff.
I have to agree though. Try to make it worthwhile, before you just throw it away. Give it a real chance. Give it an honest best-effort.
That is true, PainNLife… It’s a one-chance deal. Fortunately, we can learn from our mistakes and often gain the opportunity to fix things while in-progress.
